Powderham Castle can be found on the A379 between Exeter and Dawlish, 6 miles south of Exeter and 8 miles from the M5.
From Junction 30 (Sandygate) on the M5, proceed towards Exeter joining the A379 in a southerly direction. Continue over the Countess Wear Roundabout. Take the first exit left on the A379, signposted to Dawlish, then follow the Powderham castle brown tourist signs. The castle entrance is in the village of Kenton on the left hand side.
